About me
What is Art?
Art is the accumulation of human experience and emotion attempted to be portrayed to others. What is the biggest thing that separates us from animals? Humans are more social than other animals thanks to our increased ability to convey emotion. However, these displays of emotion are only temporary, so we create art to make those expressions permanent.
Why to I take photographs?
Most art mediums are largely dependent on creating something from nothing, but with photography, the focus is to capture something that’s already there and give it a new perspective that may not have been seen before. Part of why I love photography so much is that I enjoy making normally mundane things look interesting, but also because when taking a picture, you’re forced to think about many artistic techniques all at once because everything is captured at once when you hit the shutter button. While having to think about composition, lighting, framing ect. all at once does force you to to think about a lot all at once,I actually like having to think about those things, because I can see how each of those aspects will change the image in real time before it’s finalized.
